Great Day

Great Day!
Thursday was a particularly intriguing day. The day kicked off with Mother Tongue lesson. Wow! It was really great and fun. The teacher taught us in an unique and special way. He let us read through some passages from the news paper and one of it was about a woman from California giving birth to octuplets by caesarian section! It was stunning. Furthermore, our class was divided into several groups and we became extremely rowdy when we played bingo. Undeniably, my group was one of the most hyper active groups amongst the entire class. Nevertheless, we won ourselves a packet of Oreo! What a great way to start off the day!

Our lesson was followed by P.E, one of the best periods of the day. We get to play floorball! Each of us was very excited about it and was very active during the game. However, when it came to the running of the hundred meter run, half of my energy had already been drained out. Inexpressible tiredness festered within me. In the end I took 13.5seconds to complete the hundred meter run. Well, it was neither a good nor bad result.

After recess was the English lesson. It was full of fun and laughter too! Mr. Hamilton shared with us several interesting vocabulary and followed by doing the comprehension worksheets. The comprehension was written by a Cantonese woman and Mr. Hamilton put all of us into great laughter by imitating the Cantonese accent! I was totally impressed and amused.

Than we went to science lab to do some experiment; we worked on the agar block experiment which allows us to learn more about diffusion. Gavin, however, was not concentrated instead he was desperate and asked Mr. Gabriel if he could eat the jelly like agar block! Mr. Gabriel was stunned but soon gave a swift and powerful reply “No wander you are in that size.” The whole class then burst out into laughter.

The day ended in a blink of an eye, but some of us stayed back to work on our class decoration. We worked together to form several beachy decorations. This period of time was truly an enjoyable and meaningful one.
Teamwork is great!
Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.
